First, I devoured the Thieves and Hunters books.
Now I'm on chapter 4 of Summer and I really REALLY feel like I missed several book!! This is only in Summers POV. It reads like there were thing that have happened that I should already be aware of, yet I didn't miss a single book. Did this happen is a different series??

So listening to this and several things are already bothering me. 1. it's reading like someone copied and pasted Wikipedia into this book. I don't care what the little sun beads after an eclipse are call nor do I care how they came to be called that. 2. It's oh so obvious these authors don't know how to write a book. It's more like a screenplay.
3. How the reader is pronounces Ephraim!! Its Eff-rum not Eeeeeef-ram!

I agree with most of everyone else it's the same old thing.
Did anyone else picture David Schwimmer "Ross" as Potts??

Getting ready to read. I gotta admit I cried when Newt was not immune and then died. I don't know if I want to know what he was going through in-between that time. I just know it going to be heartbreaking 💔

Chapter 50! What the heck??!! So many things have happened in the last 4 chapters I can't even get it straight! After Daniel and Lydia hook up FINALLY after 30-something boring chapters, we finally get some action!. but it's so flipping confusing I don't know where to begin!

Well so far I'm not impressed. 8 chapoters in and not much has happened. Zero intrigued, boring characters, no plot. And the one chapter of Xhex thrown in seems so out of place. I hope it comes together soon.

I could get through this book. Just gave up. Didn't grab my attention at all

Loved the first story. Better than book IMO

after reading all the shadowhunter books in a row, I've really lost interest in this. will be a while before I finish

well I just finished the 4th story and so far only a tiny bit is about Simon. the stories are little stories about previous shadowhunter from the academy. I have feeling that it would be better to read the prequel trilogy first, since a couple of the stories are about them
