I can’t get over the current references— to Dakota Johnson’s recent performance, for instance. The Austen institutional knowledge is so meta. Rating the Balfour’s wealth among known Austen characters. Playing Nelly on the piano, as in Austenland.

A little boring start. But I think that’s the point. It makes me so angry that a woman needed her husband to accompany her to pick up a prescription. AS IF.
