Just interesting enough for me to keep going. It's really hard to keep track of who anyone is.

Was looking for something to scratch the same DANGEROUS OCEAN STUFF itch as Devil's Teeth, but this one is a little slow to start. I'll give it a little more time to get going, but this might be a DNF.

The latest book we're reading to the kindergartener at bedtime. He is DEVOURING Ursula Vernon's backlist.

A re-read for me. I liked the film with Tom Selleck as a kid and read the book in HS. The book is solid, readable. Not exactly a page turner, though. Not sure I'll finish my re-read before the library loan expires...

One of my almost annual re-reads this time of year. Still one of my favorite Christmas romances.

Incredibly well-written so far. Harrowing, rage inducing. Almost impossible to put down even though I know where it's all going because we all lived it.

New Kingfisher! New Kingfisher!!!

One of my favorite books. I usually reread it over Christmas, but everyone is sick so now I'm rereading it for New Year's.

Probably my favorite Heyer and definitely the one I reread the most. I just pulled it up on my Kindle to read while I was waiting for a library book to come in. But then Sophy sucked me in and now I'm reading the whole damn, delicious thing for like the millionth time while my new library book languishes unread.

Getting close to the end...and my library borrow expired. Have to wait a few weeks to get it again. *grump*

The next book in the 1920s set mystery series I was working on isn't available from the library so I decided to retry some actual historical mysteries written by Dorothy Sayers. I like Harriet Vane a lot, but I wish she was the main character, not Peter Wimsey. The book is fun so far, but the pacing on this one is a little slow, and I don't think I want to read any of the books in the series that don't have Harriet.
