Almost too delicious to put down. I've always wanted to poke and prod at this existence. It's exactly as I imagined it to be. What a read!

Good story to date, a bit over-the top, though - and editing could've been better. A lot of repetitions.

Good book, but bored me a bit in certain chapters and had me reaching out to other novels for excitement. Central theme, in my eyes, bourgeois existential crisis... A much too annoying theme for a South African to fully appreciate.

Strange how every Ian McEwan I pick up seems to have dementia as a plot point and theme, usually with a female patient... How curious.
