Sad vibes only with a lot of rain and feelings. I just started this book and I’m already thinking, okay Eureka, I get it, life is heavy, but can we talk about why the water is acting so suspicious already?

I’m really enjoying the mix of eerie photos and the mysterious story.

I’m really enjoying the relationship with Phoebe—two damaged souls finding comfort in each other. It’s so touching how they’re able to find solace together despite all the awful things they’ve been through.

Empire of the Damned is not hitting the mark for me. Gabriel's relationship with Dior is odd, and Kristoff's focus on menstruation is a bit strange.

Currently stuck at 23% of the book, and it feels like I'm wading through molasses. I was warned that the first 30% is a snooze-fest, and I’m hanging on by a thread, counting down the 7% left until something exciting finally happens. At this point, I’m starting to wonder if I’ll need a medal for endurance—or at least a strong cup of coffee to make it through!

House of Earth and Blood boasts a world so rich and intricate, each page feels like uncovering a hidden chamber. The sheer creativity is awe-inspiring, even if it's a bit overwhelming at times. Onward to the next chapter!

I thought I was picking up yet another retelling of the story of Cain and Abel (yeah I know... it Kane not Cain :P). This book, however, has been a pleasant surprise, and I'm liking it very much so far.
