I put this aside for a while. I'm watching the TNT series based on this book, and it seems to be different than the book in several respects.

Love it!

I am enjoying this so far, if I could make one suggestion to others who may want to read it, read it in book form-not e-reader. There are footnotes in every chapter(every page mostly) at the end of the chapter. You don't see the footnotes until the end of the chapter with no reference to the page or paragraph.

What a thriller! I read this book in about 5 days (fast for me because I read at night and usually fall asleep a chapter in). It was a total page-turner, and describes the passage of time and time standing still from Anna's point of view. The basic story reminded me of Hitchcock's Rear Window, with the person in the window housebound for different reasons. A total shocker of an ending!

Not sure what page I'm on as this was purchased as a Kindle boxed set, and the total pages are for all three books. I'm about half way through book one. It's a good murder mystery, but set in Wales with lots of Welsh town names. Very difficult for me to get into also as the characters are mostly unlikeable. I was hoping the books would be more like Louise Penny's books but they are not. Not sure if I will finish it.

This book is a bit of roller coaster in the attention-keeping department. After glazing over for about 50 pages, an interesting turn of story has me determined to finish the book today (or, realistically, tomorrow) just to see what happens to Jean Perdu and his crew.

I've decided to put this book aside for a while. I read mostly in the evening, and the subject matter and content is just too disturbing to read before bed for me. A great story and very interesting characters, but too disturbing for me for now.

What a ride! I read the last 350 or so pages of this book in about 7 hours overnight when I couldnt sleep--truth, I woke up at 2am and wondered how the story would end. Tired now, but very impressed yet again by King's story-telling gift.

Such a huge book, I can't read it in bed at night so I am reading during the day when I have time. However, I love this story! As usual Stephen King doesn't disappoint! I seem to be at the point in the book where I won't be able to put it down. Yep!

This book is a total page-turner! Could sleep around 2am today and read for 1 1/2 hours! King is truly a master!

Still love Stephen King"s writing!

Good story. Like her writing style. Good characters.
