The world-building is fabulous, I like how thought through the cultures and species are. Niclays is turning out to be my favourite, because I love how morally grey he is. Very self-serving, I love it.
The pacing sucks so much though.

I love that Rick Yancey's work is still so good to be now that I've got older.

As always, Scott Westerfield never fails to impress me in the Zeroes series.

I'm not really sure what's going on, but I'm enjoying it so far. I sometimes feel I give too much leeway to fantasy writers (because I adore fantasy), but I hope it lives up to the reviews.
