Getting better so far. Magnus Chase is not among my fave among the Riordan books. (I really miss Percy! And the Kanes! And Jason, Leo, Piper!) But this one is getting me there. Loving the new character, Alex Fierro ❤

Currently on page 190. I can't imagine living in this era. I don't know if I would be able to survive.I keep thinking - how did Deaf people survive this war?

Reading this as an ebook so not sure about the exact page because I adjusted the text settings. I have to take a break because it is addictive& disturbing at the same time. I can't get the chants out of my head sometimes. Like... Viola! Violaaaa! This is the 3rd in a series&a good one that not many people know about. Recommended. Ness' depiction of a futuristic world in another planet will have you turning the pages.

I keep going back to Riordan to do some light reading (the other one being the war book, Mark Sullivan's "Beneath A Scarlet Sky" (World War II in Milan, Italy) and Patrick Ness' "Monsters of Men", the 3rd book in the Chaos Walking series, the latter is both disturbing and interesting at the same time- both serious books) Also who am I kidding, I bought it coz I love mythology and this one is on Norse Mythology. Nice.
