I love this book by my series sister! Romance, suspense, an awesome dog... yup, it's got it all :)

This book is pretty heavy, so I'm taking my time with it. I'm not sure just yet whether I love it or find it too overreaching. What are your thoughts?

I'm pretty sure I know where this is going, and so far I'm just not impressed. This is what happens to me pretty much whenever I decide to try a hugely popular book. I guess hype poisons things for me. Will still keep reading to see if my conclusion is right though!

Wow, I am just really not enjoying this book. I have zero attachment to the MC and don't feel any suspense surrounding her eventual "decision." This never-ending stream of flashbacks just kills the story.

It's taking me forever to finish this one, because I keep finding myself bored with it. Maybe it's the fact that all the best parts were already taken out for the TV show, or maybe it's the episodic, detached nature of the memoir genre--I don't know, but it has its moments, and I will finish it... Eventually.
