Like the bimbo that I am, I started with the third book instead of the first.

Enemies-to-lovers. Forced to live together to win. MMC hates FMC and her dad due to past traumatic events that includes his parents. FMC has daddy's issues and sibling rivalry. She's the middle child and the only daughter.

Maybe I’m lucky that I don’t have a little sister. Both girls annoyed the heck out of me.

Almost half way through the book, she still frustrates me. Unsure which part in “to find your sister, you have to play” bit did she not understand?

FMC annoyed me. She treats her younger sister as if she’s 5 years old or something. I have a sibling too, but sheesh…

This romance is so wholesome and cute. And why do I know who did what from the start?

Oooh…the intensity is fast.

He put her through a lot. At this moment, she only listens to stop the physical abuse. While she's broken, she's not 100% gone. There's a thin wall that they aren't able to break down yet. They're showing her the advantages and disadvantages. This is more than just cruel.

At this rate, I would wish for death. The programming was graphic and can be disturbing if you can picture it in your mind as you’re reading.

He put her through humiliation in front of everyone who was at the auction after he won his bid. I need to read the rest of the series to figure out what her dad did and why she ended up having to pay for it. I know he wanted her since she was a child, but to have such anger and hatred!

This book might have given me the nightmare last night. Woke up at 2am and couldn’t go back to sleep until 7am.

At the beginning, Odessa reminded me of the annoying Violet in Fourth Wing. However, she does get better and the annoyance has lessen.

Updating my currently reading books cause most are read or haven’t started.

Now, this is a real slow-burn romance. Love it!
