I really cannot get into this book. It has all the trappings that make me think I should like it and I just can't.

Will have to come back to this book later as it needs to be returned to the library. Really interesting so far, but just not in the mindset to read about the topic right now.

Nope. I love surrealist art, but apparently I can't deal with surrealist writing.

Sweet sassy, a few pages in and I already know this book is going to be very not good.

This book, my god this book is a trial to read. I'm slightly considering giving up on it right now, but I'll wait to see if I get a second wind when it gets closer to the L.W.A. Book Club discussion day.

My UX Reading Group is meeting at the halfway point of this book for our first discussion. Really enjoying the thoughts so far.

I just couldn't with this book. Second in a series and it completely switches gears. Different family, different "adventure," and I found none of the characters likable. I'm halfway through and I've decided to abandon this book. I've been waiting for it to get better this whole time and it is just not.

I'm finally calling it on this book. It is good writing, but the story is not my style. I would slog through and read it if it was closer to 300 pages, but I just can't when it almost hits the 500 page mark.

This is a bit too technical for my current interests. I am going to abandon this book and try to find something that is more about his life in Berlin rather than the details of the recordings and songs.

Oh man am I loving this book so far.

The sweeping generalizations of who makes the DIY culture and huge focus on stay at home moms has me rolling my eyes while reading this thing.

I really enjoyed another book from this food series. Since I know next to nothing about this delicacy and have only tried it once, I thought this would be a good short book to read.

10 pages into this book and I'm already in love with it. I have a library copy, but I'm probably going to end up buying a copy for myself.

I wasn't able to finish the book before it was due back at the Library, so this one will be on the back burner for a bit while I wait my turn in the hold line.

I watched the first 2 TV seasons before starting this book. The TV follows the book (so far) pretty faithfully, which makes for a bit of a boring read. It has finally started getting a little more detailed/different to keep me interested.

His humour and descriptions is what is keeping me reading, but I vacillate between love and boredom.

Just finished the second volume, The Two Towers, last night. This vol. was a bit more boring than the first vol. The battle scenes and stories that revolve around men, which lack the hobbits, is dullsville. Thankfully, the beginning and end are engaging and I'm excited to move on to the third volume of this series.
