Definitely getting five-star vibes already…

41 pages in and I'm already loving it!!

This is my first Katherine Center book, but it definitely won’t be my last! The Bodyguard has me smiling, giggling, and completely immersed in the story. I absolutely love the characters and the writing style—Jack is such a likable character and he says the most sweetest things! I can’t wait to see where the story goes. I have 190 pages left, but I already don’t want it to end!

Determined to finish this but I just don't think it's for me. Hoping that things pick up but seeing as I've come this far and I'm near the half way point, I might as well see how it all ends.

I remember starting this book years ago but I didn't finish it. I don't think it's because I found it boring, I don't quite remember the reason but I always knew that I would pick this book up again and now the time has come! I have every intention of finishing it.

I am SOO invested right now! More than I ever thought I would be..and the last time I ever wanted to meet a character in person was 2016 when I read ACOTAR and was obsessing over Rhysand. Since then I don't believe I've ever wanted to meet a character as much as I do now. I can't be the only one who wants to meet Tristan! And I love the female protagonist in this too! I cannot wait to see where all of this goes!

I'm actually really enjoying this book more than I thought!!! I absolutely love the characters, the sense of humour is amazing and I can't wait to see how things wrap up!!

I've been wanting to read this book for years now and I finally picked it up a couple of days ago. I'm over half way through and I'm sensing that this will be a 5 star read for me. I haven’t had a five star read in a while but this book is wonderful. This book really is gripping! Suzanne Young is without a doubt a talented author!

So close to the end, curious to see how things wrap up but I'll admit I did get a bit bored during the middle of the book. Still a fascinating read and still motivated to finish this today!

Dorian Havilliard is quite the gentleman.

Really enjoying this one so far. A strong theme of what it's like to be in a fandom. Interesting read.

We're looking at a 2 stars at this point. I'm just hoping the ending is worth it.

I really wanted to like this but so far, I'm just bored. And I'm not really a fan of the writing either...

I'm bored but also determined to finish the book since it's not long.

I was so afraid that I was going into a reading slump because everytime I picked up a book, it wouldn't hold my attention for whatever reason. However, 50 pages into this book and I am HOOKED, no doubt will be finishing this tonight!

The female protagonist annoys me. I didn't expect her character to be so annoying but I still have a lot to get through so I hope dont feel that way throughout the book otherwise that would be a complete disappointment seeing as I have been waiting to read this book for the longest time!

Honestly I'm a little disappointed. Ok very disappointed. This is my first King book and I had such high expectations but the book is unnecessarily descriptive which makes it so slow. You would think by now there would be more of the plot showing in the book but I'm just bored at this point. I was so close to DNF'ing but I'm determined to get through this book. I dont think I will be picking up Doctor Sleep after.

I'm enjoying what I'm reading but I had such high expectations for Will's character. Instead I seem to like Jem a lot for now at least. Interested to see if this is what I think once I read the next two books in the trilogy but I will be taking a bit of a break after this one since I'm not really in the fantasy mood but so far so good I guess.

A bit of a slow read for me but that's not because it's a bad book! I'm just ever so slightly intimidated by the length of the book but I'm loving what I'm reading so far!!

So far, I'm not really liking it😫😫 I really wanted to love this book and I have, on many occasions debated on whether I should DNF it but I'm determined to push through and finish it since I also brought the second book, Vengeful before I even started Vicious. That's how much I thought I would love it 🤦‍♀️😓
