DNF lost my attention. This book is brutal just as the tital proclaims. It's violent and I need to be in a particular mood to enjoy it. I'll revisit it at a later time.

Just finished first chapter and can't stand the sanctimonious heroine. She better get better quick or this book is getting chucked.

Lesbian mercenaries that have been superized by technology (nanos and computer programs inserted in their brains). I'm beginning to lose interest.

Want to punch heroine's parents out for being such morons. Don't know how she can forgive their stupidity which comes across as meanness.

I'm slightly confused and the story is losing me.

I like this book, but I don't care for the romance. I know it's a romance book, how can I not like the love story. It's hard for me to go from a woman about to leave husband to widow interested in detective investigating husband's death even though husband is being revealed to be a scumbag.

The heroine is bold! I never thought foreplay with a sheet could be so gooooood! One thing: I'm having a little bit of trouble with the world. I hear Afghanistan and University of Texas and think okay, present regular world. Then I read the hero thinking about Valhalla, having a metal foot, steam powered motorcycle and typewriter that can send text messages and get confused.

Want to punch the devious office vampire.

Very short. I liked most of it, but the reason the villain went after the heroine was pretty lame. It wasn't even clear why the heroine's old pack disliked the heroine so much.

Loving it all so far.

On my nook the first page is on 7 and it ends on 66.

I'm having a horrible time reading this. I'm picking apart everyone's reaction and thought. I'm feeling petty, as just about everything pisses me off or leaves me thinking about the immaturity of old and young creatures. Can't wait to finish.

This book is nothing like I thought it would be and I'm disappointed right now.

This chick is pissing me off. She's all angry and keeps biting the hand that's trying to help her. She is a mess and instead of taking the help she needs keeps attacking the man who's trying to help her.

I'm bored.

I'm shitty with this book. Through the entire story there are unknown people chasing the heroine. At the end of the book we still don't meet those evil ones. We know where they are and other bombshell news then wham! the hero and heroine express their love for one another and the story is over. Really? I'm pissed.

Having a hard time with this one. The heroine is mighty quick to accept all types of things. Hero is a he-man and don't really get the quickly changing emotions of all involved.

I'm loving this book. Roberts had me when her heroine used her period as an escape from a Highland warrior laird. lol

Suddenly anxious to escape from his disturbing presence, she spoke hastily. "Pray excuse me. I believe my monthly courses have arrived." ........Did she actually tell him her monthly courses had arrived? She was at a loss for what to say and had to think of something quickly so she spoike the first words that came tomind. That tactic usually worked on James. In fact, it would stop him dead in his tacks..

Never finished Stay, but I did read the next two stories. Those were fluffy paranormal romances.

Stay: This story is silly. I don't get the attraction between the hero and the heroine. She wants a fling, he's a vampire looking for blood. The fling is turning into more than a single night of pleasure. Now the heroine's possessed. Feel like skipping to the next story. Will put it down and try again tomorrow.

Story is following different characters including: a prison inmate, tattooist, lawyer and detective.

Didn't realize it was part of a series. I feel like I'm missing something even though the author is giving me info about previous actions. One of the characters survived being being killed by a serial killer in a previous book and I wish I knew more about it.

I can't do it. This book is irritating the crap out of me. DNF
