I kind of wish there was more detail to the storyline. The romance is nice, but I'm still hungry for more!

Wow. Just - wow. It took me about 50 pages to get into this book. I wasn't quite sure where the author was going with it... But now that I'm there - I'm hooked!

This is turning out to be a surprisingly good murder mystery. Very easy to read.

The first few chapters in and I was wondering why so many people rave about this series... But now I'm over half way through I actually find myself really enjoying this novel. I am interested in reading more about Harry's life and the magical world he lives in. Favourite quote so far: "Crap," I said. I'm quite eloquent in times of crisis.

After a little time away from Goodreads I am back and better than ever! Have a few more reviews to post that I didn't have the chance to post over the last month or two. Yay!

Action galore! Harry is human and realistically frail compared to the genetically altered Anastasia, Doug and bear-guy. I feel like we're getting closer to finding out what's going on. I'm hoping Harry comes up with a cure!!

Woah... I am definitely enthralled by this novel! "... I may have fur, but just because I look like this doesn't mean I have the overwhelming desire to climb a tree or chase mice."

Carl seems to have been brought into the fold very quickly. Really liking this story! Favourite quote so far: "Yeah I'm an alien," she responded calmly as if this kind of thing happened every day of the week. "Get over it. We exist."

'I had an education before Hendon,' I said. 'I was thinking of training to be an architect.' page 255 Finally!!! Now I know why DC Grant seems to know an impossible amount of architectural history of London!!! XD

'You're so boring,' she said. 'You'd think a copper who was a wizard would be more interesting. Harry Potter wasn't this boring. I bet Gandalf could drink you under the table.' Probably true, but I don't remember the bit where Hermione gets so wicked drunk that Harry has to pull the broomstick over on Buckingham Palace Road just so she can be sick in the gutter.

Everyone is suspicious... The FBI agent, the murder victim's flatmate and even the pottery.... Hmmm don't quite know who's guilty just yet... Off to another great start in this novel!!!

Just finished the first short story 'Just Pretending'. It's a very sweet, lighthearted and easy read. Will continue tomorrow.

"She was spontaneously created by the midichlorians," I said. Both women gave me blank looks. "Never mind." I love the random nerdy references I am finding in this book!

Interesting start, I'm loving the 'vestigia' as they call it. Sir Isaac Newton as a magician is interesting as well...
