Read it years ago, but wanted a refresher. However, so little time for extra curricula reading outside of my Bible these days. We'll see what happens, eh?

Fanny wrote many hymns. I'm savoring this book as you would any book of poetry. I'm in no rush.

Found this Jewish author online at YouTube channel, Hakol Sababa. Clever, funny, makes great music. So when I discovered he wrote YA time travel stuff I bought books 1 and 2 in the series for a deal. Just beginning. I'll let you know.

Stalled. So much in the world happening right now, just not as much time for reading

Hmmm. Interesting historical novel about this REAL small town in America. Clever and real (even though the people depicted are fictional) that opens a window into this place and time. Full of information that you don't realize you are learning because you are enjoying the story.

Barely started bug lots to know (and ponder) so I'm not in a rush. Nice to hear a clear, concise easy to understand, knowledgeable person discuss A.I.

I hear TONS of lamenting by young men that there is a major drought of young women to marry. It is the SAME thing I heard (and said) in the 80s & 90s about men. I want to give knowledgeable advice & understand more how ALL young men think. So I've started with a classic.

Put this on my To-Read shelf years ago and wanted to read it now but couldn't remember it's name. Ugh, Scrolled to 360 ( on my list of almost 500), just bought it and finally starting this CHRISTIAN Steampunk novel that has only RAVE reviews here at Goodreads. 😊

Read this book four times but not for several years so I've picked it up again (this time in an ebook) to revel in the awesome talent of Stephen Lawhead again.

The Library took it back before I could finish. I'm back on the months-long waiting list again.

YA book recommended by a Goodreads friend. A woman caught by the Nazis (WW2) is tortured and forced to write and reveal what she knows. We begin by reading her confession. Fascinating. Can't wait to see where it goes.

JUST DOWNLOADED Kindle edition. Love Amir's non-fiction so was eagerly awaiting this one, his first FICTION (sort of). 😉 Amir is a well-connected Israeli and this event actually happened to a Mossad agent but had to write it as Fiction. Plus he KNOWS his Bible Prophecy so added events that WERE GOING to happen while writing it which already have taken place from the time the book was finished to published.

I have always wondered how Switzerland managed to not get taken over by the Nazis during World War 2. I guess now I'll find out. LL

Almost done and the next book, PENDRAGON, in audiobook format ready and waiting in the sidelines. LL

The somewhat prophetic story of society wiped out by a plague and an old man telling the remnant of survivors the way life used to be in the hope they will find the ideals to rebuild civilization on. Just beginning it. LL

Lots of content in this first book to set the stage and world build in this fantasy adventure. LL

Read many times but this is the first time listening to audio read by Frederick Davidson. He's doing a wonderful job! Thoroughly enjoying it!!!

This retelling of the Robin Hood adventure with the focus on plucky Maid Marian looks like it will interesting and fun with no doubt more than average depth by the author who created the Owls of Ga'hoole. LL

Interesting memoir of a young man surviving the Depression on the family farm with his Godly mother and young bride. To eventually go to fight in World War 2.
Lots of anecdotes. Many humorous. Many heartfelt and tragic during those hard days in America's history. LL

A mixed bag of fantasy stuff so far. Where will it lead? Will it pick a path? LL

I forgot what a lengthy book it was because it goes by so quickly and pleasantly. Seeing so many more things this time around as the old fogie I now I. 😉 LL

Anthology of Dystopian/Post-apocalyptic short stories from writers from the past couple of hundred years. From the famous to the unknown. It demonstrates how creative people seem to be RE-telling similar stories, with similar themes. Maybe it will help me to understand WHY. LLR

Here we go for another read of this great story. For the first time in my fifties and in the ebook format.

Turning into a pleasant surprise as the stage is set for this post-apocalyptic sci-Fi. From the cover, I thought it was a graphic novel but it's not. It's got a nice flow, likeable characters, a good vocabulary and some interesting (though made up) science elements.
It's sparked my curiosity. LL

What kind of cat does she have? Is it supposed to be one of those weird hairless ones or just all white? A little slow moving but it's definitely keeping my interest. Curious to see how it will end. LL
