Very confusing at the beginning which left me unable to complete

The writing is top notch with very good characterization, setting and plenty of action and tension. There are a lot of characters and multiple storylines that eventually merge. The one word I would use to describe it is ‘devastating’. I haven’t finished it yet because I found out I needed to read the High Republic Phase 2 books first because they take place some years before phase 1. I am nearly done.

So far, this book seems very childish and unbelievable. I stopped reading it and can’t make myself return to it with so many other and better books to read. Maybe some day, with the hopes that it gets better

Unusual and very interesting

I really like this novel, but it jumps across time which is a little hard to follow. Hope to get back to it soon.

To follow Joyce in any way, plenty of research is needed. Work to do still.
