Finished ch. 11. I'm upset, while it's already a gift that we got an extra book for these characters.... I'm sad that the journey is so short-lived. One last batch of chapters to go.

Finished ch. 8. And so like people doing shady stuff, urgh I wish they would just come clean and be nice, and like, not knowingly be horrible lol. An awful attack.

Finished ch. 5. Wow, I'm sorry to say, I'm actually incredibly confused lmao. It's weird, there's parts that are very straightforward, those are easy to understand, but, I feel like at the same time, we are literally shown the actual reason behind what's going on, and for some reason THAT's what's confusing me. I think maybe because the motive itself is still unclear, dunno.

Finished ch. 2. So set only a year after the event that happened in book 3. Again, I'm so really glad I decided to reread books 2 and 3 of the trilogy before starting the new books. Not quite sure where this is going. I think I'm still more interested in vampires lmao.

Finished ch. 9. Hmmmm, I do like what I've read thus far, almost feels a little sad that it's going to end soon. One last batch of chapters to go!

Finished ch. 6. I hope there's eventually some decent explanation for the revelation just now that's like super random so far.

Finished ch. 3. New vampires. I'm glad I revisited the last 2 book of the main trilogy before reading this one. It's been a while and I'm pretty sure I'd be going in almost blind had I not done so.

Finished ch. 24. Okay, everything happened really fast. If that jerk was telling the truth, that's quite tragic but in a way, that's life. One last batch of chapters to go.

Finished ch. 21. (Though, between chapters 19 and 20, there's actually something else, the length of which could pass off as another chapter). Someone is found, I hope they are still friends and not actually foes, really can't be too optimistic at this point.

Finished ch. 19. I am a little worried, I mean, the story is progressing nicely, but seeing the percentage I'm at, I feel like we are arriving closer to the end faster than I'd like. I hope it'll have enough time to wrap it up well.

Finished ch. 16. Like OMFG. Again, from how it was written, OBVIOUSLY things were going to go south, and it was horrible that it was dragged soooo long for it to actually happen. I thought our main dude has developed a sense of better judgement, alas he was tricked.

Finished ch. 13 and what comes before ch. 14. That was brutal. Devastating. I will be VERY annoyed if it turns out that someone was actually a spy or something. If that's not the case, then it still is a great loss. Then we also have the on-going backstory, which just confirmed the brother was alive at some point. I need a happy ending.

Finished ch. 11. Nice action scenes I suppose, some super tough new foes.

Finished ch. 8. (Though, between chapters 6 and 7, there's actually something else, the length of which could pass off as another chapter). So far so normal. It'd be annoying if the person turns out to be a backstabber though, that, or, you know, the brother still met an unfortunate end. Pretty sure no one would be up for that.

Finished ch. 6. Dang, I mean, the way it was written? Obviously something really bad was going to happen, thankfully nobody died ATM but still, man. Also, previous archenemies of sorts turned out to be alive. I did see that one coming though.

Finished ch. 3. New ally, so it seems.

Finished ch. 22. (Though, between chapters 20 and 21, there's actually something else, the length of which could pass off as another chapter). I actually quite like the extra content this time, because I didn't expect I would be getting that specific backstory, or the start of it, at least. One last batch of chapters to go, saving it for tomorrow!

Finished ch. 19. Okay, so our main gal decided to open up. That tragic story? It was still very horrible, but it wasn't as finite (not sure if I'm using this word correctly) and awful as I imagined. That said, I think it'd be meh if, you know, someone turns out to be alive, but unfortunately goes evil. Let's hope it doesn't go that route.

Finished ch. 16. (Though, between chapters 15 and 16, there's actually something else, the length of which could pass off as another chapter). That something in between? Man, I mean, we all know it obviously didn't end well, right? The way it's written, it's practically torturous because we don't get the full picture in one go, urghhhhhhh.

Finished ch. 14. Yeah, no. Still not really feeling this at all.

Finished ch. 10 and what comes before ch. 11. Hostage situation. Annoying. More backstory.

Finished ch. 8. Technically I had to read the first few sentences from chapter 9 to know why the revelation at the end of chapter 8 was of any importance LMAO, goes to show how the world building so did not make an impression for me.

Finished ch. 5 and what comes before ch. 6. I still haven’t grasped the main purpose of their routines. Our main gal’s backstory is slowly being revealed.

Finished ch. 3. Basically action nonstop. Dunno if there’s a purpose or if it’s purely for survival.

Finished ch. 27. So much for free discrimination and whatnot. And the Big Bad's ability is finally shown. Wonder if that's all there is, because like I said, it left more to be desired. One last batch of chapters to go!

Finished ch. 24. (Though, between chapters 22 and 23, there's actually something else, the length of which could pass off as a shorter chapter). Like dang! WTH is up with that mad scientist? IDK if it's just me, but I think it's boring to not know why she's to be feared. Obviously her ruthlessness was just demonstrated, but it just wasn't convincing IMO.

Finished ch. 21. The pacing for the last couple of chapters was pretty spot on, something bad happened when you feel like something bad probably would be happening lol. I just hope there’s no casualties, cuz that would be too predictable and annoying.

Finished ch. 18. Meeting people and needing their help. Not quite sure this would go.

Finished ch. 15. So our main dude actually has more secrets. IDK, I’m not even passively intrigued.

Finished ch. 12. Okay finally things are getting slightly intriguing (just barely though).
