The Green Tea Dango so far is one of the most heartbreaking story in this book. So many lingering questions, but deep down I know that the reason is love and sisterhood.

I hope this gets better… So far I’m 38 chapters in and it’s sadly boring me.

THIS is what I was expecting when I read Caraval and Kingdom of the Wicked. THIS book is what I have been longing for and FINALLY someone wrote it.

Is breathing still an option when reading this book?

My goodness… the amount of angst in this book is relentless. It’s an addictingly painful read.

Very challenging to read, given that the female main character is as childish as a middle schooler.

Emilia has NO GROWTH at all. She is still playing the naive sister that pisses me to no end.

Don't even try to get my attention when reading this book. The moment I started I just couldn't stop.

Nothing is truly happening regarding the progression of Olive and Adam's relationship... Everybody is slapping Olive with the he truly likes you line, but he still doesn't believe it.

While some chapters are hilarious, I honestly don't see the hype or the romance. Both characters lack actual character to be invested to.

Oh my goodness... Olive is really really dense, it's actually annoying me. 😦

I have no idea what is happening to everybody in this book. I'm so close to not finishing this.

So far, I'm not impressed with the characters and their personalities. 88 pages in and I'm already annoyed at both main characters, Nor and Casper.

The journey of Arlo is quite intriguing but the long chapters with nothing really happening is truly a snooze fest.

Chapters are too long and dragging with nothing particularly interesting happening...

Cas + Sabine... Well that was predictable. What next? They'll be amoures instead? 🙄

Flow of the book so far: Murphy's Law + Immaturity

Cheesy and cringey af exchange from Dain and Sable. 🤢

Thank the heavens I was wrong about Sable and my guess on how their relationship would progress. 🙇‍♀️ Also, I liked how her previous attitude was explained.

It honestly frustrates me when the character art in the book spoils the love interest in the story. Especially if the story is "supposedly" more centered the journey than the romance. Plus, including a love interest just for the sake of having one doesn't sit right with me. Hope I'm wrong about this one though!

Kiem is honestly the only character in this book with a personality. Everyone else is a blank cardboard. While the mystery and intrigue regarding galatic politics is one of the most important aspects of the storyline, the way it's written is also too dragging. 😩

Seriously, Kate and Anthony's love-hate relationship is annoying the hell out of me. It's not the kind of love-hate you'd come to love. It's the repetitive type that wants you to tear your hair off.

I don't know if it's Kate (the female mc) that I dislike or if I just find the trope highly annoying- probably both.

I'm having a hard time finishing or continuing this book. Zadie, as a sister just manipulative and selfish. Ugh.

Nathaniel proves to be a breath of fresh air in this book. Elisabeth is very frustrating to read. She instantly assumes that the first sorcerer pick her up is the killer- no evidence whatsoever.

The main character, Elisabeth is frustrating. I don't think she understands the meaning of sarcasm.

The premise and promise of this book is action and adventure. I'm 67 pages in and nothing is happening but 'yada yada yada'. Things that could be summarized in a few chapters were prolonged. NOTHING IS HAPPENING FOR 67 PAGES.

Alice, the supposedly protagonist of this story, is a superior douche bag. There's no other way to sugar coat it. She has anger issues and she easily takes out on who ever she can.

I have tried to dismiss the attitude, as the story is intriguing enough, but when the supposedly protagonist acts selfishly aside from being a douche bag, I cannot refuse to acknowledge it.
