Had to go back to library 8/4/24. On hold so I can finish. I had it while in NB and read very little the month of July. Very interesting and historically illuminating. How to get to finish later.

I read this in June and am rereading it. I think it is an eminently crucial important book for our times which actually suggests action which we all should involve ourselves in

I ran out of time and have to wait until April 1 to reserve it again. Sort of interesting. But a bit pretentious and overbearing. I'm reading it because my friend Marilyn recommended it. Some of the insights of turning 70 are relevant for a woman but his egotism is a bit much. Would prefer a similar take about washing from a woman's perspective.

Julia Lee is reading The Sound of Gravel
I thought it was very interesting and sad. I enjoyed the voice of the narrator beginning as a young child. I think she did that really well. Glad I read it.
