The book The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton is about two gangs that are in war called the Greasers and the Socials. The Greases live on the South side of town and dress underclass. The Socials live on the North side and they dress rich. The Socials are always jumping the Greasers. The main characters in this novel are Ponyboy, Dally,SodaPop,Darry,Johnny,Two-Bit, and Steve. They are all Greasers that stick together.

Its about a boy named Ben he lives in New York city on Union street in Brooklyn. He lives with his mom and his mothers boyfriend Larry. He's always in danger and always seeking for safety from Larry and these two guys named Rodney and Shamar.

So far this book is really good. I'm learning allot about the slaves and the way how their being treated. Its interesting how the white man is treating Aminata how hes nice to her. There were some parts in the book that were a little sad. Some parts touched me in a way because it was interesting the way how the characters were acting. But overall its a good book and its getting even better as the story goes along.

I juust started reading the book. I chose it because it was about a girl who gets taken away from her family and her father gets killed by terrorists who come to other peoples villages and takes them to the White people to use them as slaves. It seems interesting to me.

Im at the part where Josh Cameron has his daughter come find him.

I like this book becuase its a basketball book and I play basketball and I'm a big fan. It tells me about the Boston Celtics and I used to be a fan of the Boston Celtics when I was younger.
