This feels like the author read Stephen King's Cell and Jose Saramago's Blindness, then watched Pontypool and The Happening and thought "Yeah, I could do that."

Chapter 11/disk 6. I think it lost the plot after "Punch Drunk". So far it's my least favorite story in this thing. Too similar to "Speaking Bitterness", among other reasons.
