I really enjoy this take on parenting today. A no frills guide to loosening up on your over bearing grip over your children. Most definitely not a self-help book and I really like that about it. Funny, witty and true. I just wish she provided a better class and cultural analysis, stating at some point that these overbearing, helicopter parenting strategies are particularly prominent in white, middle class culture.

I like that she didn't avoid a class analysis when talking about which young American's went back to the land.
