Not too sure if its because I decided to skip other 4 books to read this standalone, but I am feeling fairly neutral to this book. There are some parts that I enjoy but overall feels pretty mediocre. It could also have been because my kindle decided to glitch really badly and broke the flow of my reading experience.

Not sure if it is because I don't read enough fantasy books but the writing at first is a little confusing. So far everyone seems to be annoying except Vivi and Jude.

Again, going in blindly. 40 pages in and I am feeling this book feels a bit dystopic. Exciting page turning experience ahead!
