Good grief. Rachel is going to be one of those characters that says “I don’t need to go to the police. I can handle everything on my own” only to find out she can’t handle everything on her own and all the events of the book wouldn’t have happened if she just went to the police in the first place. I hate characters that make dumb prideful choices 😣

Slightly confused by chapter 1 being written in 1st person and chapter 2 being written in 3rd person. Why are we switching tenses here? I don't like it lol

Ava seriously sucks

She’s basically saying “I should give this damning evidence to the sheriff who has been very supportive throughout the years but I won’t because I would rather be Nancy drew and figure everything out for myself instead”

If someone else dies, Ava will be partly responsible for it. She makes stupid choices
