I am realy enjoying the mystery aspect of this book. Everything about the book is different than Maas's other books, but I don't know how I feel about it. I haven't read much urban fantasy leaning books so some parts have felt unnatural while listening, while other moments I feel immersed in the fantasy world.

I'm listening to the audiobook and for as giant as the book is, it doesn't feel like there's too much detail. Not sure if I am missing the small nuances

Listening to the audiobook and honestly couldn't tell you what was happening plot wise. I've been more distracted by the ramped up smut scenes. It's been slightly off putting and unexpected.

Hanna is insane and I'm living for it

I'm not even done and I know it's gonna be so hard to wait another year for the final book

I want to like this book, but some of the prose is just too simple. Which I think may be to establish a sense of urgency or fear, but I don't connect with the characters.

Starting this again. Snagged the audiobook to try and see if I can get through it that way
