Interesting beginning. This book seems a bit slower and more filled with the politics of the different groups (dwarves, elves, humans, riders)

Getting interesting. Friedman is discussing the importance of controlling the seas - thus controlling trade.

Reading for sixth time!

Just finished the prologue and into the first chapter. Excellent read so far though a bit violent. Love the descriptions of characters.

Fascinating book. From why kids lie to impacts of getting one more hr of sleep.

We meet his grandpa. Very interesting character. I think he will provide wisdom and perspective in the unfolding of the novel.
