I’m not sure how the person I presume is the love interest can possibly be redeemed… so that’s interesting.

I’m a little more meh about this one than I expected.

Can I power through the last hundred pages in an hour before I go to bed? That is the question.

I started and soft-DNF’d this once a few months ago bc the authorial voice wasn’t immediately landing for me. However, I’m liking it a lot more this time.

Might just power through tomorrow night.

Crazy to think I read 205 pages and I’m still so far from the ending. I’m still enjoying the story; however it is starting to feel like the side quests are just side quests and maybe not as important as the hundreds of pages it’s taking to get through them.

Coming back. Im on the section with the Maer and I keep getting the sense that I’ve read this part before, even though this is my first time tackling this book.

These 125 pages flew by.

This is gonna be REAL interesting.

I’m famously the one who is like “I’d call the police” when asked the hypothetical “would you help me bury a dead body?” And so far, it seems like this story follows the repercussions of doing just that. So hopefully I’ll feel seen by the end of this.

When cozy fantasy is done right, it’s done right. I have a strong feeling this is going to be 5 stars.

I’m quite engaged.

I in general do not care about books set in the world of fame and acting. . . But as a comedy and sci fi nerd who also loves Shakespeare… I feel like this book was specifically written for me.
I feel like there are a lot of weird anachronisms that I guess are technically possible, but feel wrong for the early 2000’s.

Listening to chapter 57 on audio while also reading it physically was a joy.

I just know if I read another single page, I will be up all night finishing this.
