Calliope may have a cool job and live every little kid's dream, but she's definitely not the coolest person right now.

And sadly, I can't blame her.

Whoa! I did not imagine a Magic Mike plot twist here, but okay.

Jimothy made me cringe and gave me the urge to put it down and move on with my life. But the backstory was good enough for me to read on. So far, so good.

Alexa. Play Bejeweled by Taylor Swift.

Sparkles! 🤣

Who on earth thinks that playing a song on repeat for HOURS on end is an adorable trait? I hope this won't recur in the last chapters! ugh!

The aftermath of Nate’s accident was dark and ridiculous at the same time. It sort of reminded me of Tim O’ Brien’s The Things They Carried.

Whoever pulls off such ridiculous atrocity (an unsurprising aftereffect of war, IMO) is one helluva writer, if you ask me. And yes, Pamela Clare is one helluva writer!

This author’s wit! Hahahaha! I cannot!

I don’t like what’s happening here, but I get what the author’s doing. Good job for keeping me hooked tonight!

Aaaw! Evan and Kendall made secret love affair cute.

Hold up.
Ty. Texting. Really?!
He must’ve had a very good tutor.

And just like that.

The pettiest, third-act breakup.

The banter's still fun, though.

A feud between 2 racing families? That puts your budding romance to a pickle!

A good one, if I may add.

Ice Princess by Erin McCarthy: 5/5 stars

Brody + Chelsea, featuring their smart mouth, is one riot of a read. I was laughing out loud practically the entire time. And here I am rating it a perfect 5 and I ain't done reading yet!

OMG! I can’t stop laughing! I want to be Chelsea when I grow up!

The Legend of Jane by Jessica Clare: 5/5 stars

I do have a soft spot for dweeb heroes.

And I love how the MCs are polar opposites. It makes their budding romance funny and sweet. Now I don't know which one is going to be a top favorite!

Cow tipping sounds funny...and wrong.

Things people do for entertainment. *sigh*

Perfect Stranger by Carly Philips: 5/5 stars

Who would've thought darlin' can be a sweet endearment? This is all thanks to Luke Thompson, you sweet sexy thang!

I wish these were longer. Or it has a sequel. I hope we see them again in the series or something!

I just love it when the hero arrives in time to save the day!

Is it a good idea to compare the woman you are attracted to to your sisters? I find it half cute, half creepy.

Hope Smolders by Jaci Burton: 5/5 stars

It feels weird to read about characters who are closely connected with each other. Understandable because it is a small town, after all. But Will is so sweet. I love the fact that he allowed himself to be vulnerable, and I think that is the most sincere gesture. I will definitely read all the books in the series.

The most sincere apology I have read, so far.

Not because it is done by a woman. But because a man listened.

The weirdest, most sudden, and just-pop-out-of-nowhere reunion I’ve ever read.

What the hell is going on here?! From Colby to Alex?!

Still not seeing the similarities yet, girl?

I am sort of dreading the outcome of this. Ugh.

What is this? A rom-com version of 50 shades of gray???

Wooing in the midst of an accident? That’s chaos, dude. Pure. Chaos.

What do you call a third act breakup times two? Yep. That’s what’s happening.

I am today years old when I learned that PITA stands for pain in the ass. What a fat-inducing insult! Hehe!

Dropping the phone in water as a reason to lose contact with someone? Feasible, sure, but cliche.

Or, as we say on this side of the globe. Gasgas.

Guess what, Archer? Your reason’s bullshit, IMO.

Can’t help but still like you, though. Ugh!
