This is the ultimate example of “don’t judge a book by its cover”. Except in this case: the cover and the title. This books is so wonderful. It reminds me of The Princess Diaries, meets Veep, but make it gay. It is beautifully written and filled me with joy. I recommend it to everyone!

Oy. It’s really REALLY not like me not to finish a book but I am a third of the way through and just not enjoying this. Love the concept but the writing is so...predictable. It’s also cheesier than a pizza. I’m not a big superhero fan and it’s not a genre I’ve read much of, but this seemed like something I’d enjoy. Sadly not, onto something different!
