Curtis Hempler is 60% done with Quest of the Golden Ape

I've been playing with my new iPad, and this is one of the public domain books I downloaded. It's actually a collection of what was originally a serialized stry in a pulp magazine. (1957, I think) It's actually better than I expected. It definitely has a golden-age sic-fi adventure flavor, and it's fast moving and fun to read. Next up will be John Carter of Mars, I think.
