I seriously wish GR would allow half and quarter star ratings. I spend to much time when I am reading stressing between giving a book the full star rating when honestly in either direction the book doesn’t deserve it. But it is GR and they haven’t really done anything to improve it.

My brain is not working well today. Between the heat and my headache I’m sure my blathering makes no sense.

I’ve been rereading books more than reading new ones lately. I just can’t find any “new” books that are striking my fancy. Any suggestions? — on audible — romance (of any kind)— been rereading PNR and second chance romance.

I’m desperate for a good paranormal/urban fantasy romance that’s on audible. Any recommendations friends?

Listening to June First by Jennifer Hartmann on audible. I’ve got my box of Kleenex and chocolate handy. I read it already on Kindle and loved it … I so hope she puts Coda and Aria on audible too. 🤞I highly recommend you all read everything she writes. She is an absolute genius 💕

Readying myself to get my heart broken by Kate Stewart. I’ve been putting off reading The Ravenhood Trilogy. Today and the next few days I’ll be a complete wreck. Keep me in your thoughts 😉

I know this makes me sound like an a$$hole but I’ve been dnf and flat out avoiding books with bad narrators. Since I listen to most of my books a narrator is a deciding factor if I will buy a book (even if the ‘bad narrator’ may only be in a small portion or if it’s a series if they are only in one book within the series). An undesirable narrator can completely ruin a book for me.

My current mood read craving is MC romance but every book I’ve started has been a bust. Maybe I need to go reread a few of my favorites until it passes to another genre.

Any recommendations my lovely GR friends?
