It’s so trite and joyless - this is a shy/victim Medusa and a kind Perseus. Too post modern for me…

Intense emotions and good snappy dialogue around offbeat sci-fi references make this an easy read. However, there’s a YA element to the adult interactions that feels odd. Are artists / actors / media types REALLY this childish? Does talent come with petulance?

So slow and trite - Medusa seems simple and ignorant and her sisters seem harpy-like, which is poor caricature and an insult to the power of this story

Oh if ever a book could be delivered at a better time…! When you miss your friend, and you wonder if you ever truly live, once they are gone. 💔

This isn’t what I expected and I’m not sure if that’s the era it was written or the stage direction which doesn’t translate well as a radio play style audiobook…

Told in brief paragraphs, like diary entries from the various characters- the action limps along but the feelings are joyful.
It’s like poetry in prose

Don’t know whether to gasp, cry or laugh in shock at how many near misses Lottie has, in trying to avoid killing someone (or being found out)!

And now someone turns the table on her #RootingForLottie

Wild and wandering and massive world building - but this is so addictive! I love each of the random storylines and am just curious where it will go next. Low stakes though - this is fantasy but in a way that's also a slice of life.
