Linda is reading Always Dreaming of You (Dreaming #2)
Well I must say that Chris and Elle were not as exciting as Mark & Kiki in the first book. having said that, however, I read it all the way through hoping that their anxiety would abate and that something would happen to make them stronger. Well, it finally happened but along the way I totally lost interest in the outcome. how could two strong individuals be so wimpy and lack confidence! Elle was the daughter of

I am sorry to say that this was a book I just could not finish. It was confusing and it just didn’t ever get to where I expected it to get to. I’ve moved to the next Smiley book and am enjoying it very much. This one got quite a few reviews similar to mine. I may come back to it but not now.

Interesting but nothing we haven’t already heard on CNN or seen on FB or heard about on every news show since Trump first became a real threat to winning. It is cleverly presented and if he hadn’t tried to suppress it, many of us would not have bothered to read it. Good for Michael Wolff! I’ll finish it but don’t expect to find out anything new. Can’t wait for 2020.

It's interesting. We all should have a neighbor like Mrs. Saint. I'm sure there is much more to learn about her skills.

Very good. I like Ray Dudgeon, P.I., a tortured man but one who cares. The narrator is very good.

Exciting and dark. A hit woman is the sister of a cop trying to find out about a young girl found murdered. The hit woman kills bad guys but is totally against children being involved in any crime and this one points to trafficking of kids to perverts. Well written.

Very interesting and a true story about how women took on the management at Newsweek in 1970 when things like this were simply not done. I lived during this time and was very excited to see women becoming more powerful in their own right.

Very good. It starts out with a mystery and so far it is only getting more mysterious. Who is Bix?

This is a terrific story. Samantha Brinkman is a defense attorney and she knows what she's about at least until her latest case defending Dale Pearson, a homicide cop. He brings more to the case than she ever expected. Can't wait to see how this all turns out. Marcia Clark was a prosecutor but she knows both ends of the table. Her writing style is excellent.

Great as all the other books. Maggie is on her game and she is not taking any prisoners. Wonder if Angel or Zeke will win her heart?

Terrific. Just finished the first book by Jenna Bennett, her Samantha Clark mystery series, 'Cutthroat Business.' It is fabulous. Last night I finished the 2nd book, by Andris Bear "Demon Undamned" and will happily add her to my authors to read more of list. It is great and it may be my first demon/angel book. Chamus and Shula are a great couple of characters.

It is an excellent book. The author has the gift to tell the story about a very complex issue, black holes and gravity waves that we can hear on earth due to the work of thousands of scientists around the world. She gives life to the idea to take Einstein's theory of gravitational waves and figure out the technology to measure them. It is a book for the interested non-scientist.

I am thoroughly enjoying the alpha males and their grandmother's matchmaking techniques. So far so good. Four matched and two to go.

Love Sadie Sparrow's sassiness but kinda tired of Alice's self absorption BUT that's what it's all about. 7 hours to listen. It's getting more exciting every minute. I love audio books.

Great! I like this series and like the way the author weaves a suspense theme into the story from the first line but is able to show an attraction between the two caught in the web of conspiracy. Can't wait to see how this ends. The first book had me up late into the night to finish. I'm sure I'll be re-reading them both.
