Still slowly chugging away at this one! I WILL finish! It's actually very interesting, I'm just a little bogged down with the current narrator. But I'm told he doesn't last much longer...so on we go!

Why do you keep telling us that Hannah is funny??? She's literally NOT funny!! And no amount of narrator exposition is going to change that!! She's stubborn, crap at her job, and unbelievably fearful of stupid things.

Not super impressed so far. The main character is annoying as anything, and frankly unbelievable as a bodyguard. So far she has been: scared of cows, mixed up the (not identical) brothers she's guarding, thrown a hissy fit when her boss literally gives her an easy job, acts completely unprofessionally with the people she's guarding, and been the biggest workaholic I've ever seen in fiction.

Characters read much older than 16...
And there are a lot of f bombs...

Thought I'd finally try this classic series. Not expecting to actually read the whole series, but maybe just see what everybody's talking about :)

Wait...is this a...SAD book?? I clearly did not read the synopsis before starting this one, but I'm thinking that I am probably going to need some tissues before the end... REALLY liking it so far though!!

Oh my word!!! Why did I have to come to work today?? Why oh why couldn't I just have stayed home and finished this book?? It is SOOOO good!!

What is this abomination of a train wreak of a book? And why can't I look away? This is literal garbage but I can't stop reading...I SHOULD be DNF-ing this, but I think I actually am going to finish...ugh...what does this say about me??? Never mind, I don't want to know.

Ok, I have literally laughed out loud twice now...and once I was definitely in public and should not be snorting in an inappropriate/embarrassing way. So. I guess I'm liking this so far!

Oh my stars - it's like a plot twist every chapter! I'm so in love with this book, I can't even begin to describe it...

My gosh this book is long! And I'm listening on audio...almost 24 hours of audio...but on the plus side, if you want to listen to this, the narrators from Librivox are AMAZING!! Highly recommend!

Loving this book so far, but definitely feeling some major Cameron Diaz vibes from The Holiday...not sure how I feel about that... But struggling to put this book down, so I'll probably not be cleaning my house this weekend.

Wow! GLH is taking a trip down the reality TV show lane! So in the first 1/3 of the book, the main character has already murdered his childhood friend, run away from the police, hitched a ride on a freight train, and committed identity theft! Let's see where this goes from here!

Does Grace Livingston Hill know any other males names besides Graham???!!!??? I swear, if it's not a first name, it's a last name, and this is quite literally the 15th book with a character with the name Graham (or Graeme...but I'm a midwesterner and pronounce them the same). Pulling my hair out!!!!
