I am not sure if I love this book yet, but I will say it is unputdownable

What the HELL am I reading? I've been enthralled and confused this whole time. But what just transpired has me reeling. I am going to continue with the story, because I have enjoyed it regardless of my confusion, thus far. But what was the PURPOSE of what just happened? I guess there is no purpose when it comes to *****...

This book is going to break me into pieces, I fear. Will it stitch me back up? I am enraptured. Rivers Solomon writes like a dream.

So far, so so good. And that cover in person? It is beyond beautiful.

I HATE this awful family. Dang good book. Anna's awesome. Justin. The kids. They deserve so much better.

I am flying through this one so far.. man, those family dynamics are already tough. Can't imagine the next 90 pages. But it seems my 2 book bad luck streak may be over! Phew

WHO is this talented writer, and where have they been all my life? Dang, this is good. The best, so far, that I have read in a long time. Wow! But f-word, I hate so many of the characters so deeply. My jaw has been clenched out of anger for the last 300 pages. THATS how amazing V.V is with the words she puts on a page. And major love for a few of them.

This series is so good. And the tension is ramped up. I know others haven't enjoyed this one as much, but I love it. Maybe its the back to back reading of the series, all the tension building constantly? Either way, so far, I love this one too.

What happened to you Mabel Rose? Not to mention, Jericho... shocked. I am shocked.

Dont let the mythology and the backstory scare you away. They add more to the overall understanding of the story. I am not always a fan of this type of "look back" but I loved it here.

This series is so good y'all. So so good. Go get book 1 wherever you can (digitally at the moment) and settle in for an amazing story. Wow. Just wow. I want to see how it finishes, but I am so not ready for it to end. What a predicament

Really enjoying this so far. I love the little snippets of the past scattered throughout the story. And the mystery is a good one, although I think I have some things figured out!

I still love this series, so very much. But I am struggling with the takeover, especially Kara. It's taking time away from the ghost-hunting aspect of the story, which is what draws me to these books. Well, aside from Ellie and Stacey awesomeness! Plus, I kind of want to scream and yell and punch something when Kara shows up, especially after what she just did... I am hoping there will be retribution coming for her!!
