Wowie this just isn’t… very good.
I have some issues with this book aside from the weird, disjointed writing style, but I’ll save those for the review.

F*ck me, this book is hard-hitting.

Aaaaaaah, this is hands down the best book I’ve read this year so far and how come no one warned me just how amazing this story was!!!
I need to gather my thoughts, review to come!

But just so you know, this book is freaking unbelievable!!

I should have checked Goodreads prior to getting through 60% of the audiobook. This is an Avon book and that explains a lot. The cover and title are quite misleading, I think. This is neither thriller, nor mystery, but rather Lifetime drama.

On a side note, you can’t just spend half of the book painting a picture of a perfect guy without any cracks in it just to make a 90 degree turn and tell me he is the absolute worst. Could have at least left some breadcrumbs to hint at his derangement?
Also, sadly, I guessed where this story would go right at the start :(

I’m really loving this so far. It’s so gripping and tense!

So far, this seems like the type of book that you’re just hoping to get through. I find it hard to care about any of these people.

I don’t know.. it’s all so far fetched, I’m having a hard time believing Denise and Aaron. This is an account in their own words and yet I am not convinced..

It’s Mindy McGinnis, she doesn’t write bad books.
This one is no exception.

Loving it

Sooooo good. No idea what is going on, but the relationships and psychological aspect of the story is incredible and so well constructed.

This was really quite great! Reminiscent of Mysery, with some unexpected plot twists thrown into the mix, this made for an entertaining and engaging read. One of the better thrillers I've read this year!

The audiobook was fantastic. The story follows three different women in different timelines. It is a crucial, illuminating read that explores the themes of womanhood, sexuality, power, sacrifice.. i highly recommend it!

Wow, brilliantly constructed and full of depth and meaning. I am loving the multiple scenarios of *perfect match* stories and the twists that are starting to arise.

Love all the voices in this book, can't get enough of the British accent. Loving the story and the multiple points of view.
This is fantastic read/listen to fans of Black Mirror and sci fi thrillers!

Why is Mary going around pretending to be Robin? I get pretending to be Robin to cash out the inheritance and split it, but why actually go out of your way to meet old friends and lovers??

OK, so if a random guy I've never ever met before came up to me and said "hello future wife" and “I can’t wait to get started on the rest of our lives!”, I'd probably throw more than just iced coffee at him. 😂
