Because this is such a long book and I am listening to it on audio, I decided to switch to reading since it is on KU. That did not work at all because the book's narrator is superb so I would rather take longer to listen than to read it myself faster.

I just have to say this before I forget. I really like this series, but I wish someone would explain to the narrator that the word is as-phalt and not ash-phalt, Since this word is used frequently it is very annoying.

Oh I'm liking this a lot. I don't usually write a lot of reviews, certainly not when I have just started a book, but this one has me hooked already. I live in an area that occasionally gets hurricanes so this makes me think. And I can already see (I think) some of what is coming afterwards. I am really looking forward to the rest of this book.

I don't usually write in the middle of a book, but this one is just fabulous. After binging on Creep and the Freak I went straight into this, and I think this one is the best. Can't wait to finish it.
