Only about 200 words in and already found two glaring errors in misunderstanding cryptozoology. Typical tropes that are used - coelacanth was NOT a cryptic and there have not been “generations” of cryptozoologists. It’s a newish concept that can not be retroactively applied. Bad start.

Totally enjoyable.

Nicely written but I’m finding it really hard to read in this current time. I’m already furious with the media. I can’t muster the will to learn more awful things.

Getting harder to read. It’s exhausting to make so many leaps of logic and assumptions. Not good.

That's as far as I could get in this book. It's not good in so many ways. Not going to finish it.

Disliking this. Boring, cumbersome. Unengaging.

Struggling with author's difficult writing style. It's just not making sense, as if it was missing an editor.

Sometimes rough going, but I must do it if I want to talk about it.
