Gave it a go, but it's a D-N-F for me.

I have never liked Kyra. Too sanctimonious. And annoying. Reynaldo was too good for her. All she has ever done is bitch and moan since her character was introduced. Ugh.

Too repetitive so far. Something is missing, but I'm not sure exactly what. I'm having a hard time caring if this couple comes together. Not much action...

This is an unfortunate snooze-fest. Not much happening.

I’m really trying to hang in there, but I see a DNF with this one.

So far I'm liking the hero, and I'm warming to the heroine. This book isn't reading like an S.K. Lessly book. Chemistry is there, but there are too many useless details about actions & scenery being used as filler. I have no idea why this book is listed as a cliffhanger or why it's taking so long to tell. I read Ruined, and it's just as long, but the storytelling was brilliant & riveting the entire read.

This is a tedious read... Too much unnecessary storytelling to the point I'm starting to skip pages just to find out what happened.

Meh.
