I had to take a break as the book was losing pages and I had to glue the binding. Darn my love of old books.

I'm most obviously not reading one a day.

I normally whip through Mitch Albom's books, but this one is stumping me. It's even a WWII book, but I think the fact that it's fiction is the problem. For some reason I find actual history books less stressful than I'm finding this one. I'm not really appreciating the Truth as narrator, I think. I'm not giving up, but I'm not feeling the urge to read it right now.

Slow, but steady.

I took a break and read Rachel Maddow's Prequel.

While this took me forever to read for how short it is, it was not really a slog. It was a very detailed depiction of his life from birth to essentially when he joined the Nazi party and became the man he was "meant to be."

Slow but steady wins the race.

I'm having trouble getting through this book. No clue why.
