Finally trying this again in physical this time and what do you meannnnnnn with that twist. GAH

Ok I don't mind a book with a bunch of horrible people but I think this has determined I like having a Watson/Hastings who is assuredly good. Makes it easier to put up with the assholes

This is going back on the tbr for now. The mood reading monster has struck

I can't tell if the character has just forgotten a piece of contradictory evidence or if the author has ignored it. Sigh let's hope it is the former

I am sorry even implying in the presentation he has given up his first authorship drives me bonkers. I hope to god that he didn't actually

So having plus size rep is great but also god damn I did not need to be reminded tonight how some people look at me with disgust if my body touches theirs.

I will be thinking about chapter 31 all day, all week

We are playing an exquisite game of emotional ping-pong.

*screams into pillow*

Why do I already feel like this audiobook is going to destroy me?

Are there flatbreads that use eggs??? I thought only enriched breads used eggs in them 🤔

It is genuinely hilarious how little the author knows about horses. My guy, no one is out here willingly riding horses bareback all the time.

Bro they are setting up for one hell of a redemption arc for Cador. Who throws away someone's books? 😱

Lonan is so nothingburger and Ash is dumb as a pile of bricks. Here's hoping it picks up soon.

I demand more chattiness during sex! It is ever so delightful whenever it is done.

I find the familial relationships in this story so intriguing and very different than most fantasy stories. Someone not trying to escape their arranged marriage is new.

I have been listening to this nonstop all day. The tension god damn! I love it

Oh you can't just tease me with a locker room memory and not expect me to be intrigued. I really like the reader for this audiobook too.

Well everyone, you will be happy to know I am having a wonderful time so far.

I love a reluctant hero. I love a tsundere. I love a good world mystery.

Finally ripping off the bandaid on this one with my reading buddy.

Good lord how am I only a third of the way done?? I might need a break and see if I am still interested in a few days.

"As Oliver stares, fat people do tend to die at higher rates than their thin counterparts, but it isn't because of their weight. Fat people tend to die at higher rates than thin people because doctors misdiagnose them, or refuse to treat them, due to their fatness."

On Tamir Rice: "From the moment he died, the blame for his murder was the size of his body -- not the officer who shot him."

I can understand why everyone says it takes a dip once they return to America. These guys bore me

A classic 0 to 10,000 in like 12 hours.

So fair the writing is very sumptuous in a way I love especially after some of the books I have read recently.

Oh my god I am crying. They are just trying to communicate and feel so much for each other. If only things like possible to-be-hnaged brothers and harrowing PTSD didn't make it so damn difficult. But at least they are taking it day by day ❤️😭

Hmmmmm I am unsure how I feel about this twist. Feels a bit too "just kidding 🤪🤪" hope there is more to it possibly the root veggie will help????

God damn...this boss fight...the AI. I have no one to talk to about this *shakes random passerby's shoulders*
