Hi! I'm seeking recommendations of books that feature artificial intelligence, especially those about AI that wants to be or pretends to be human. Please send any and all!

Reading this in Boston, wearing a t-shirt stating "I Rebel".

This book is heartbreaking.

So far what I've learned is I'm not middle class.

Current status: crying about Bail Organa (love of my life)

Halfway through but this line from the intro sticks with me: "For adults to hear the voices of youth, they must let go of their nostalgia and suspend their fears. This is not easy."

Reading along with Aeris. Today's question how does it relate to real life? A: I'm the same age. I volunteer. I sometimes can't describe my feelings.

The author's favourite word is clearly "incongruously". Every thought these people have is incongruous.

This book predates tumblr but that's what it reminds me of.

Just read Kirk going on about the lost virtues of reading "a real book" (instead of those newfangled discs) for about five paragraphs..... on my phone.

I'm positive I read this before but I don't remember the dolphin scientist??? But I do remember Troi the terror. Also: Geordi trying and failing to identify the year of the wine "as always" made me laaaaaaugh.
