Reading "New Year" just after reading "Last Night at the Telegraph Club" was really cool

Instant I Do is an insane premise for a reality show and I would watch every season

I picked this up because I liked Chen's last book. I didn't look to closely at what this book was about. It's very good but it's definitely hitting differently than if it had come out a year ago, or if I'd read it in January when it was first released.

I really like how much this book focuses on teaching math. So often when I go to professional development or look for resources math is brushed over. Even though this is focusing on elementary math there are a lot of ways to apply suggestions to high school.
