Slow paced and not engaging. Beginning to feel the itch to skip pages.

What the f#&k. Jake just sexually took advantage of Adrien. Dare I say rape. I suspect that Jake is emotionally conflicted about not being out, Kate being pregnant, and Adrien hasn't said anything about their situation.
It's like Jake wants Adrian to push him out of their relationship.

Now I remember why I give book 2 a low rate g. Truly dislike when writers place their characters in bad situations to advantage the story. This is like writing equivalent of jump scare.

Correction on my update.

Astrid's character in the 1st book was more fun and likeable. I'm getting so annoying with her storyline. I may be skipping pages in order to get to the end.

It's been a few years since I've read the 1st book, but I thought Dixie was nicer. In the book she isn't a likeable character. Plus she annoying keep repeating how she wants to go home.

This book isn't appearing and I may be skipping many pages to get to the end.

I can't get into this book. For whatever reasons, I keep losing focus while reading. It feels like things are happening but the way it's unfolding isn't connecting with me.

Omg. This standoff with Ruxs and his mother is heartbreaking and very tense. It's much worse than the situation that happened between God and his family during their confrontation in the earlier part of book 1. I have to stop reading and come back to this later.

Leo's character seems to be portrayed as teenage geek. So I have to keep reminding myself that Leo is a twenty-something year old adult.

I haven't returned to book 5 of 6. Needed to take a break and wanted to read something with a lot more substance. There's way too much sex and not enough of plot driven story.

Finished book 4 of 6. Troy and Sawyer story. Rate it a 2.5. The stories are predictable and the plot aren't intriguing. Also, there's more sex than actual story. I find myself skimming through many pages. In a way, I'm not looking forward to reading books 5 and 6. I dread reading same type of conflict and way too much sex.

Finished book 3, rate it 2.5. Too much distraction with a lot of new characters, not enough focus on main characters.

I completed book 3 of 6 from the Assassin Shifters. Books 1 and 2 was about the Assassins aspect, whereas book 3 introduced the Shifters. Book 3 was Sam and Dakota story but it became so much more. Unfortunately I couldn't get into it the way that I wanted to. There were a lot of new characters introduced in this book, to the point of being distracted by all the things that was going on.
