I think I've just grown out of YA titles. I don't want to be harsh on this title because 15-year-old murderino Rhianna would have loved it. Adult Rhianna...not so much.

I finally got back into my goodreads account, so prepare for a BARRAGE of updates and reading lists.

I had to get used to the structure, but the story is now absolutely pulling me in

Based on the true story behind "Lolita", Greenwood is almost impossibly good at characterizing both an innocent, lost young girl and the despicable captor. I'm listening to the audiobook and good lord it's impactful.

I forgot how much I enjoy a guilty pleasure reading now and again. Although, I have to admit there's a certain lyrical aspect to this one that I find fairly redeeming.

So far, Grady Hendrix is the least disappointing author I've binged read.

Ugh I tried so hard with this. The audiobook was fairly engrossing but a few of the same tired metaphors were recycled so many times that I couldn't stomach it any longer.

So, this is my first Evanovich read, like, ever. I'm not sure what to expect. I already have some issues with the writing style, but I'm holding out.

OH MY GOD YOU GUYS this is legit one of the most stunning kids books I've ever seen. 100%. The text is so simple but the message is true and beautiful.

Okay, this is way better than I was expecting. I've been unintentionally torturing myself with the audiobooks I've been listening to recently and this was a much needed change of pace.

Break my heart into a million pieces- I've said "awwwwwwwwwwwwwww ;_;" out loud like five times already.

You guys, I'm about to post an absolutely brutal review on this book.

I guess I'm just super jaded with most of the mystery/thriller books I've read recently because this just seems more of the same predictable, formulaic drivel I've read before. Also, it irritates me when someone describes the effect of a pill completely inaccurately. Namely Xanax in this case. You're not getting a sudden euphoric high seconds after you take it.

So, I'm not sure how I feel about the how tumblr poetry trend, but so far I (grudgingly) really enjoy what I've read.

I'm adapting my existing X-Wing pilot uniform for a loosely based Iden Versio cosplay. Despite all of EA's nonsense, Battlefront II has a fantastic campaign.

I seriously have less than 35 minutes left on the audiobook and I think I've already cried four times. Carrie is and will always be one to be remembered.
