lovely writing, captivating, and SO far from boring
still very much hooked but wow this book is LONG and so i will take a break lol

- some nice quotes here and there
- personally (until this point at least) not a fan of the writing style — cheesy and philosopher-like but the ideas are not as deep as how they seem to be written as
- lowkey feels like when a grown man suddenly has an epiphany about life that you had in 8th grade
- not sure what this book hopes to do—inspire creativity ? not working for me rn and idk if i will finish this

I started this off very skeptical because the main lesson in the book (as shown in the title) felt very obvious / so commonly repeated everywhere. I was skeptical because I worried I would end up reading a book that just repeats lessons to me that I already was aware of.
Now, I think it’s that exact repetitiveness in this book that makes it so valuable. This could not have come at a better time.

this is very in ur face realistic and it lowkey made me depressed n negative so I paused on reading lol
