This book has become so slow and dull for me. It's been a couple months since I finished the first, and this one expects to carry all of the momentum from the first's conclusion without doing any work to build it back up if it's been lost.

I'm almost so annoyed about it that I don't want to finish. And fuck love triangles or love squares, whatever the hell is going on in this - 3/4 as narrators isn't working for me.

this book has got me so fucked up. all i wanna do is finish it but also i never want to finish it, do you see the problem here?

back with my man milton for the second time and excited to understand a little bit more of this hefty poem.

This is becoming increasingly slower and slightly repetitive as a result of the narrative form (choose your adventure, multiple endings) but I am determined to hold on until the end.

A fifth of the way through the book and so far the back and forth banter/arguing between Lilac and Tarver is more annoying than entertaining. Not to mention the damsel in distress trope isn't helping much. First few chapters were very hopeful and Lilac seemed more well-rounded; hopefully rest of the book comes back to that and there's some improvement.

i have never been this scared to finish a book in my life. i don't want this to end

hahahahahahaha i really want to read this book but i also really don't want to read this book there's something insanely comforting knowing that you haven't finished your favorite book series. i really don't wanna lose that.

favorite scene(s) pt. 2 - ronan & kavinsky post-crash of the pig at the fairgrounds among hundreds of white mitsubishis + gansey calling blue & her telling him everything happening in 300 fox way

favorite scene of the dream thieves pt 1: the boys browsing a Dollar Tree at night while Gansey in all his scuffed, sockless glory talks to Adam on the phone.

Ronan is my favorite character at the current moment, so here's to a book full of lots of emotions. One TRC book wasn't enough for today ha

favorite scene part 2: When Gansey is off at home for his mother's birthday and Blue visits Monmouth for the first time.

The scene when they're all at 300 Fox Way for Gansey's appointment is one of my favorite ones in this book. Maura isn't taking any shit, Calla and Ronan tension is real, Gansey (President Phone Call) pulls the Page of Cups, and chaos in general breaks out in the house. Lovelovelove.

Rereading and annotating to prepare for reading The Raven King; already in slight pain.
