It has picked up. But I'm not sure I am interested in anyone enough to care what happens to them.

I'm not sure if I like it or if I really hate it.
The idea is great. With the seemingly perfect Stephanie having all her dark little secrets. But I'm just not sure the reveals will be worth reading her go on and on about... Stuff.

Finally!

It might have taken me 6 months to get though the first 20 pages but once I did I have flown through this. It’s all dark and sexy angstyness. I am loving the steamier scenes but I’m not really convinced by any sort of character or relationship development. They’re just… you know… having plenty of sex and thriving on the danger over the threat Zeus poses.

Love the concept but the execution isn't working all that well for me. There's something about McKenzie i find hard to connect with.
She is one of those characters who keep telling you how awesome she is and how she's the super special but never shows it. I'd like her more of she whinged less and showed why she's such a valuable weapon in the battle between fae factions.

This book is starting to feel a little like filler. One of those books where they're just laying groundwork for further in the series but nothing is really happening.

There are times when I want to shake Mac and shout at her, "What on earth do you think you're doing?!!!"
Because she's seriously lacking in judgement and common sense sometimes!
But I do love her and following her as she constantly finds herself in danger.

Really enjoying the Vampire/Werewolf/Coyote Shifter dynamic in this one.

Last time I tried to read this book I stopped before I managed 10%. So far I'm glad I'm persevering this time.
