Not super in depth but some fun facts and entertaining. A good list of films. Gets about waist deep into lore and just as I'm saying, ooh, I want to know more about THAT, it switches to the next film. It's one case where I feel like it would've been ok to edit less and venture further into the weeds. There are a lot of things I didn't know about but the juicy tidbits further down the branch get the squeeze.

Omg it’s so dry. I’m constantly daydreaming. And when something catches my ear, I have no idea what the context is. So I rewind, locate the origin, and then realize it was never properly explained so it was not me but the writing. I have other books waiting. I was excited for this one but this is third book in a row I struggled through so I may go ahead and shelve it and claim defeat. I need an interesting book!

Maybe shouldn’t be reading this after the uplifting, informative & warm Heartbreaker by Mike Campbell. So far Chris Frantz’s tone is cold, disconnected and lost in utter minutiae. First thought was what a perv mind he has. How is he remembering every woman that ever made him horny? The bitterness toward David is grating and could use objectiveness. Don’t know if I’ll finish it. Rough listen and not inspiring.

Couldn't connect with it. Very dry and not terribly insightful to me.
