My own intersexuality isn't covered in this particular text, but the history of intersexuality is none the less fascinating because my kind has only become apparent in the advent of whole genome sequencing. Discovering that half of me is an otherwise genetically normal male, and the other half significantly less sensitive to testosterone, explains my body. It doesn't explain my life.
